Thanksgiving. A day to be thankful. Not that we shouldn’t be thankful on other days. Just like how we shouldn’t celebrate our mothers only on Mother’s day. On a side note, I should celebrate my birthday every day. Why do it only once a year when I could potentially receive gifts and eat chocolate cake all year long.
So, what are you thankful for?
What am I thankful for?
My mouth – I’m thankful that it’s still working plenty fine.
Fried chicken – I’m thankful that fried chickens exist.
Nasi Lemak – No words to describe you. I love you.
Electricity – I just realized my insane reliance on the Internet. I had no idea that I am always so close to being severed from my online world without electricity. 4g? Run out of battery and enlighten me how you’re going to charge your phone.
FYI: My electricity has been cut for the past three hours. My laptop battery is counting down. T-minus 7 hours, then it’ll be my iPad for a couple more hours. Then what? Have you ever thought about what would happen if you didn’t have electricity for 24 hours straight? The food in the refrigerator would go bad, that’s what’s going to happen. That’s right. Now I’m worried. Eeek.
Ok, seriously, what I SHOULD be thankful for.
Family. I’m thankful for my family. I exist because they exist. I’m thankful that they have a humongous family. My mom has 10 brothers and sisters and my dad has 6. When we get together, hell breaks loose.
Friends. Without friends, life isn’t life. Partners in crime. Bullying, I mean obeying the teachers buddies. We finish each others’ sentences. Together, we laugh and cry, yell in delight, & scream in anger. No matter what, we stick together.
Hair stylists. Take a look at Mr. V’s current state of hair and you’ll know what I mean.
Hands. The hands of Mr. V’s professor’s wife, D, that is. She made a perfect Thanksgiving dinner for our tummies this year.

What I’m not thankful for?
My shaky hands capturing the pictures. Sorry guys. I had a line of hungry wolves behind me and only had a couple of seconds to take each shot. Take my word for it and know the food was delicious.
